Client Brief
Rhino Defence approached me to develop a strong and cohesive brand identity that would position them confidently within the home security market. They were looking for a clear, professional visual system that could be applied consistently across all platforms, from marketing materials to digital presence. The goal was to create a recognisable brand that reflects reliability, strength, and trust, while effectively communicating their services to their target audience of homeowners.

Solution
I developed a complete and considered branding system that established a clear and consistent visual direction. This included the design of a primary logo supported by a suite of variations to ensure flexibility across different applications. Alongside this, I created a branded booklet to communicate information in a structured and professional way, as well as a refined colour palette and typography system to maintain visual consistency across both print and digital touchpoints. The tagline “Guarding what matters” was integrated to subtly resonate with family-focused households, reinforcing a sense of protection within the home.

Challenge
One of the main challenges was striking the right balance between creating a bold, impactful identity while avoiding visuals that felt overly harsh or generic within the security industry. The branding needed to feel strong and dependable, yet clean and versatile enough to work across a range of formats. Ensuring that the logo and overall system translated effectively across different scales and mediums also required careful consideration.
