Project Overview

For St Rita’s Race Day 2025, I developed a cohesive suite of event collateral designed to support both the on-the-day experience and pre-event promotion. The project included large-scale signage, printed materials, and digital assets for social media. Each piece was created to feel unified under a consistent visual language, helping to build anticipation while guiding attendees clearly throughout the event space.

Event Signage & Wayfinding

A key component of the project was designing functional signage for the event environment. This included a welcoming entry sign, “Auction Here” directional signage, and individual signs for each auction item with clear descriptions and details. The focus was on legibility, hierarchy, and visibility in a busy event setting, ensuring guests could easily navigate the auction experience without confusion or visual clutter.

Program Design

I also created a structured event program that outlined the schedule and key moments of the day. The layout was designed to balance clarity with visual appeal, allowing guests to quickly understand timings while still feeling engaged with the Race Day branding. Typography, spacing, and layout were carefully considered to maintain consistency with the wider collateral suite.

Social Media Promotion

To support event engagement leading up to Race Day, I designed a series of Instagram posts including a “Save the Date” announcement and individual auction item highlights. These posts were created to generate excitement and encourage participation, using consistent branding elements to ensure recognisability across digital platforms. The featured post in my portfolio showcases the auction item series, highlighting how digital content can extend the reach of event branding beyond the physical space.
